Stainless Steel Wedge Wire Resin Traps & Strainers are engineered for semiconductor manufacturing, Ultrapure Water (UPW) systems, and high-purity industrial water treatment. Installed downstream of Ion Exchange Resin Beds, Mixed Beds, and Media Filters, our resin traps act as a critical safety guard to intercept escaping resin beads or filter media caused by underdrain failure, protecting downstream pumps, control valves, and sensitive process equipment from catastrophic contamination.

All-Metal Heavy-Duty Construction (Zero Media & Particle Contamination): Manufactured from fully welded high-grade alloys (e.g., SUS316L, Duplex S32205). Completely eliminates the risks of structural degradation, fatigue failure, and extractable leachables (such as plasticizers or TOC) inherent in conventional polymer filter media, effortlessly satisfying the stringent purity standards of Ultrapure Water (UPW) systems.
Precision V-Wire Non-Clogging Design: Features a continuous V-shaped profile that creates a "narrow-outside, wider-inside" slot structure. This design prevents particle wedging, maintains a high open area, and ensures extremely low pressure drop across high flow rates.
Customized Slot Precision for Any Resin Size: Precision-manufactured slot sizes ranging from 0.15 mm to 0.20 mm (150–200 μm) (or customized) reliably retain standard cation/anion resin beads (typically 300–1200μm).
High Pressure & Water Hammer Resistance: Robust welded structure withstands severe line pressure fluctuations and hydraulic shocks. In the event of an upstream lateral failure, the trap safely holds back resin volume without collapsing.
